Dobby

I decided to try something out in traditional art, just because I haven't had any graphic ideas recently.

This is Dobby, from Harry Potter. <333 I used this movie poster as a reference: [link]

I know that a lot of his wrinkles aren't showing, but I actually left them out on purpose- I wanted to convey his true nature, and how his personality hasn't aged like his body does. The right eye was left out just because I'm lazy. xD

This isn't technically a drawing, because I suck at that. xD What I did was I filled in a rectangle solidly with pencil, and then used erasers to erase away the lighter parts.

I'm not an expert, and this is the first traditional art piece I've done that I don't think is complete crap, so be nice.

It took FOREVER, because I, the perfectionist that I am, had to go through and measure everything on the original by a tenth of a centimeter, and then transfer all of that onto my drawing using points. I'm such a math nerd. >.<

Total time: all of the hours I should've spent studying for midterms.
